DarkHaunts Haunted Site Locator app for iPhone and iPad

DarkHaunts Haunted Site Locator was designed to help you locate the closest “True” haunted site near you. You can choose to have the app Auto-Detect your location, or you can enter a location manually by zipcode or City, State. Each site has been researched and it’s geographical location has been, (Longitude and Latitude), plotted so that it will be easier for you to find.

Once your location has been determined, auto-located or chosen by you, the display will show a listing of Real Haunted Sites and their distance from the location you chose. If you click on one of the listed locations it will display the address, if available, and the longitude and latitude of the site and a brief description of the activity there. If the story has been researched and is available on the DarkHaunts website there is a link to take you to that webpage and read more about it, you will not be logged out of the app when you do this.

You can also hit the “View Map” button and it will show you the Haunted site on a Map so that you can zoom in on if needed.

On the main listing page you can also click on the “Location Types” button and you can choose what type of location you would like to view. For example I like to eat at any haunted restaurant that I can find, so I go to the Location Types screen, chose “None” at the bottom to clear all the checked location types, the default is all locations, and then hit apply and then the list appears again with just the nearest haunted restaurants close by. Or perhaps you want to find the nearest haunted hotel, you can do the same thing, but this time choose hotel instead of restaurant.

The locations here are REAL haunted locations, not commercially run haunted house locations like you would see at Halloween time. This app will lead you to locations where people have had a real paranormal experience and seen real spirits and ghosts. Use this app and explore the paranormal sites near you today!!

Currently there are only 3,200 locations in the DarkHaunts Haunted locator database. More are being added as quickly as possible.
